Carol Feinberg

Carol FeinbergCarol Feinberg, Senior Consultant, Vitiello Communications Group, combines her scientific background, research experience and project management skills with her love of writing and training to offer clients a broad range of expertise in strategic communications planning and implementation.

Science Leader:

Prior to joining Vitiello Communications Group, Carol managed clinical programs at Unilever Research and Development. In this role, she developed the ability to analyze and assess the needs of an organization and create communication strategies and programs to meet those needs. She led the Institutional Review Board at Unilever U.S. and participated in the development of global policy to ensure ethical review of human testing within the worldwide organization. Her work with a team of marketing strategists translated clinical results into dynamic consumer communications for the relaunch of Dove® personal care products. As a scientific innovator, Carol has two patents pending for the invention of a novel skin-sampling device. As a communicator and coach, Carol developed an interactive training program to bring the use of this invention to her global colleagues.

Award-winning Mentor:

Based on her work with prominent physicians and leading scientific researchers, Carol understands that complex issues require straight-forward communications and actionable solutions. In various projects, Carol distilled the complicated requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) into best practice curricula for clinical researchers in the consumer products business. Her innovative approach to communication earned Carol the Unilever Mentor of the Year award in 2004 for leadership programs designed for junior colleagues.

Carol earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University
